Within the next few minutes, a confirmation email will arrive from Memoir Studio. It contains your receipt, the course start date, and a link to your student portal.
If you do not see the email in the next hour, check your spam or promotions folder. Then add michael@memoirstudio.ca to your contacts so nothing important gets lost.
About a week before the first session, you will receive the Zoom link, the reading list, and a short welcome note with the first writing prompt. Nothing is required from you before then. Rest into the anticipation.

A dedicated notebook, paper or digital, becomes the container for your writing across the eight weeks. Pick one that feels good in your hand.
Protect the Time
Block the weekly 90-minute session on your calendar now. Add a quiet 30 minutes afterward for reflection. That buffer matters.

Thank you for trusting me with your writing. The Seven Rooms is a contemplative course, and the work we do together asks for honesty, patience, and a willingness to listen inward.
You do not need to prepare anything specific. You do not need to have written before. You need only to arrive with your memories and your curiosity. I will bring the prompts, the structure, and the space to write in.
