🚪 Room 1, Awareness: invites us to slow down and notice the memories, images, feelings, and details that are quietly asking for attention.
🏡 Room 2, Honesty: invites us to move beyond the familiar version of a story and make room for complexity, contradiction, and truth.
🍞 Room 3, Order: helps us see the patterns, connections, and emotional threads that begin to give shape to a life.
🕯️ Room 4, Devotion: the practice of returning to the page with patience, care, and trust in the writing process.
🔑 Room 5, Surrender: asks us to loosen our grip and allow the story to reveal what it may be trying to show us.
📚 Room 6, Union: explores how our personal stories touch shared human experiences such as longing, grief, love, courage, and belonging.
🌅 Room 7, Service: invites us to consider what our stories may offer as memory, witness, blessing, wisdom, or companionship.

Meet Your Guide

A little about me, and why this course is worth the wait
Michael Williams, founder of Memoir Studio

Hi, I'm Michael Williams, founder of Memoir Studio. For years I've had the privilege of helping people put their lives into words, from first-time writers to those finally ready to tell the story they've carried for decades.

Again and again, I've seen the same thing: people don't lack stories. They lack a path. They sit down to write and feel overwhelmed by where to begin, what to include, and how to make it meaningful.

That's why I created The Seven Rooms of Memoir. It's a gentle, structured approach that lets you explore your life one room at a time, so the writing feels less like a mountain to climb and more like a homecoming.

When doors open in early 2027, I'd love to walk through these rooms with you.

Michael
